Alliance to Prevent Substance Abuse
This Committee's responsibilities include the promotion and support of alcohol and drug prevention and education programs and related activities with an emphasis on youth.

Cable TV Advisory Committee
The purpose of the Cable TV Advisory Committee is to improve and expand the role of Freehold Township's Municipal Access Channel, TV-77, in disseminating information to the public.

Clean Communities Advisory Board
This Board's responsibilities include the overseeing of the application and use of State Grant funds which enable the employment of summer staff to further clean Township roadways.

Emergency Management Council
This Council's responsibilities include the planning, organization and direction of varied emergency management operations, coordinating the activities of local Municipal Departments with Monmouth County and providing necessary guidance and advice for the development of emergency management plans.

Environmental Commission
This Commission's responsibilities include conducting research into the use and possible use of open land areas of the Township and compiling natural resources inventories, and reviewing plans for possible land development to make certain all State and Local environmental concerns are addressed.

Fire Prevention Board
This Board's responsibilities include the enforcing of the Uniform Fire Safety Act and the codes and regulations adopted pertaining to all buildings, structures and premises within the Township.

Historic Preservation Commission
This Commission's responsibilities include protecting and preserving the Township's historic resources and sites, and creating community awareness and support for historic preservation and restoration.

Human Relations Council
This Council's responsibilities include conducting forums that will allow groups or individuals to share the benefits of diversity, and to review any bias incidents which may occur in Freehold Township.

Lake Topanemus Park Commission
The Lake Topanemus Park Commission oversees the care of the 71-acre park.

Parks & Recreation Commission
This Board's responsibilities include the formulating of plans for the development, improvement, maintenance and use of Township-owned public park and playground lands.

Planning Board
This Board's responsibilities include the enforcement of the Municipal Land Use Law through its review and action pertaining to subdivision, site plan and variance applications.

Rent Control Board
Five regular members and two alternate members are appointed by the Township Committee.

Shade Tree Commission
The purpose of the Shade Tree Commission is to beautify Freehold Township by planting trees, caring for existing trees and promoting the importance of this valuable living natural resource.

Street Name Review Committee
This Committee's responsibilities include assisting the Township Committee and Planning Board in reviewing pending applications and existing streets and naming or renaming such.

Transportation Board
The Board serves as a sounding board for commuter problems, and provides suggestions to the Township Committee on transportation issues.

Youth Guidance Council
Youth Guidance works in conjunction with the Police Department to counsel and to address youth that have violated Township Ordinances or demonstrated other forms of negative behavior.
