Clerk's Office

The Township Clerk's Office is responsible for the recording, preparation, and safekeeping of the official minutes of the Township Committee meetings and other official records of the Township, including resolutions and ordinances.

The Township Clerk is the local administrator for Primary, General, School, and Special Elections held in Freehold Township. This includes the siting of polling places and the delivery of election materials to the 26 polling places prior to Election Day.

There are a variety of licenses, permits, and registrations that are administrated by the Township Clerk's Office.

Notary Public

Most Freehold Township offices offer Notary Public service to Freehold Township residents only. Proof of residency is required.
