The Monmouth County Mosquito Commission is the primary control agency for mosquitoes in Freehold Township, Freehold Borough, Manalapan Township, Tinton Falls Borough and Wall Township. They frequently apply pesticides for control of adult mosquito populations on an area-wide basis throughout Monmouth County between June 1st and November 30th. In addition, the County will respond to resident complaints regarding the breeding of mosquitoes in ponds and other bodies of water.
